A Real Country Bike Shop, A Country Ride, and evidently a Few More Calories to Burn

Gordo at Lavant House School

A vintage trike sets the tone outside.
Gordo, however, did not choose that
for his ride for the week.

Paula the proprietress steps out to
bring in the sidewalk displays at
the end of the day.
repairs, however, to a local tradesman's
delivery bike continue into the eveing.
Barreg Bikes is a fun bike shop in Fishbourne, on the A27 in West Sussex. It's also a handly local spot to rent a few rides for the local bike paths/MUTs, and the mountainbiking in the nearby hills, and secret spots.

With my neck all messed up I needed a comfort bike stem with off road wheels for a mix of path, road and full-on dirt trails.

On our last day before returning our wheels, we took a few unmarked roads up toward West Stoke. The fast traffic is fast on the narrow backroads, and the hedges obscure driver vision. The even narrower unmarked roads are safer. No-one uses them who doesn't know where they are going, and that's not too many people. We ended up at Lavant House School, before returning to Centurion way and Barreg.
