Southern Lights ...

Outdoor pub by the bay

Looking up the Channel
Inside, you get a feeling the Crown & Anchor
has been around for a long time

Outdoors again, it's the place to be on an English summer evening.

Sun sets around 9:40 p.m., you're much close to the Arctic Circle than one might think; same latitude as Toronto.

Fortunately, the Gulf Stream keeps things warm; warm enough for the odd palm tree here and there.

I lost a boot in that bay/sound digging for wrag worms and lugworms, the tide goes way out, and the mud can get thigh deep ... to a small lad.
